Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all yacht charters, sales, and related services provided by JPM Nautical. By booking or engaging our services, you agree to the following:

1. Scope of Services

We provide yacht charters (day and multi-day), yacht sales, and related services, subject to availability and the terms herein. Specific vessel assignments, crew, and itineraries may vary depending on operational and safety requirements.

2. Eligibility

All clients must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts.

3. General Terms

  • Smoking permitted only in areas designated by the captain.

  • No pets are permitted unless approved by the yacht owner.

  • Specific dockage/marina requests cannot be guaranteed unless a credit card is provided in advance and availability is confirmed.

  • Use of personal watercraft is only permitted if the operator has the appropriate license and complies with local operating regulations. Any liability from non-compliance is entirely at the operator’s risk.

  • All vessels come with the necessary safety equipment.

  • Any damage caused by any guest to the yacht and/or equipment shall be paid by the Charterer and may be withheld from the APA until estimates are available. The Charterer may purchase additional insurance for such incidents.

  • The cost of all wire transfer fees shall be borne by the party sending the funds.

4. Day Charters

  • No more than 12 passengers allowed at any time.

  • The Charterer may appoint a captain (“contractor”) and crew for their charter.

  • Full payment is required at the time of charter acceptance and confirmation.

  • AYCA bareboat charter agreements must be signed by all relevant parties.

  • Once a contract is executed, no refunds will be given due to Charterer cancellation.

  • Refunds will only be issued due to mechanical failure or force majeure.

  • Minimum charter duration is four hours (half day), full day is eight hours.

  • ID may be required at embarkation.

  • Passengers with special medical requirements must bring necessary medication.

  • Online bookings include sales tax, gratuities, and credit card processing fees.

  • Ice, water, and non-alcoholic beverages are provided.

5. Global Term Charters

  • No more than 12 passengers allowed at any time unless otherwise stated.

  • A standard 30–35% Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) is collected to cover charter expenses.

  • AYCA or MYBA charter agreements must be fully executed to confirm the booking.

  • A 50% deposit is required at signing.

  • The balance, including tax/VAT and full APA, must be paid no less than 30 days prior to embarkation.

  • At disembarkation, the captain will review charter expenses and deduct them from the APA; remaining funds will be returned to the Charterer or applied to crew gratuities.

  • Crew gratuity is discretionary but suggested at 15–20% of the gross charter fee for exceptional service.

6. Liability

We are not liable for losses, damages, or injuries caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, port closures, or third-party actions. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
